Eco-conscious technology provider, ITVET Ltd, has announced its collaboration with Tree-Nation as part of their ongoing commitment to protecting the planet. The collaboration allows ITVET to plant trees to compensate for CO2 emissions generated by the company.
CEO of ITVET Ltd, Daryl Fuller, said: “Climate change is one of the greatest threats to humanity. As a business, it’s our responsibility to reduce our impact on the planet and fight climate change. Our partnership with Tree-Nation is the perfect way for us to demonstrate this commitment. We’re looking forward to seeing the results from this initiative. We’ll continuously evaluate our progress and increase our efforts to achieve the highest level of CO2 reduction.”
As well as offsetting CO2 emissions, ITVET is taking proactive action to reduce their carbon footprint. This includes hybrid company cars, virtual meetings, hybrid working, and creating an energy-efficient smart building. Recently they were awarded ISO 14001 certification for their efforts – The world’s leading environmental management standard.
Tree-Nation is an international non-profit organisation with the mission of reforesting the world and fighting climate change.
